December Grant Reminder
It’s that exciting time of year again! We are currently undergoing our December team grant cycle! Youth shooting teams with a balance in their MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowment that didn’t apply in June 2019, are eligible to apply for their annual cash grant. Applicants must complete the MidwayUSA Foundation Grant Application and submit it by December 15th. Teams can receive 5% of their endowment balance to use for their expenses, such as ammunition, travel, entry fees, uniforms, targets, and more. Teams are eligible to apply for their cash grant, every year and early submissions are encouraged. We lock in your endowment balance on December 15th; therefore, you can continue to grow your endowment, after submitting the application, until the deadline!
The December 2019 cycle has over 2,250 teams eligible, and a potential payout of about $4.3 million. In their last grant cycle, the Foundation paid $1.7 million in grants to 521 youth shooting teams. Each year the number of grant applications submitted has increased. Ideally, every shooting team with an endowment will receive a grant each year. Grow your Endowment with fundraising products!
We offer unique products like firearms, coolers, and knives for your team to use in fundraisers. To register, simply select “Register Now” next to a product on our Fundraising Product Page. Once our staff approves the registration packet, the product(s) is shipped to you. When your product arrives, use it in the fundraiser of your choice. Funds raised will increase your endowment and could provide cash now for your team. Many teams do raffles, some host a dinner, others host a charity shoot, it’s entirely up to you!
We have some new fundraising products available, including the Browning 2 Knife Tins and the Ruger American Rifle with Leupold VX-Freedom Scope. These products do have a Limited Quantity, so if your interested hurry before we they’re gone.
