Our friends at Eventgroove are helping us host online auctions to support youth shooting sports. Every winning bid is a donation to the youth shooting program of the winner’s choice, and winning contributions will be matched through our current Matching Program. We will have various items up for grabs throughout the year, such as firearms, hunting experiences, gear, and more! Auctions will start on the first Monday of each month and will run for a week. Line up a hunting trip this fall by winning a pheasant hunt for two!
The starting bid on the pheasant hunt is $300, and the auction starts September 5th and will end September 11 at 7 P.M. Eastern. This auction uses an English style of bidding. Each bidder must offer a higher price than the last bid to participate. Pheasant hunting has been Iowa’s focus since the early 1900s. Nothing can compare to the excitement of watching a pheasant burst from cover! During the hunt, you will have plenty of opportunities to bag the wily ringneck pheasant. Lucky Buck Labs will provide the hunting dogs, each of which is professionally trained and ready to hit the field. For added excitement, wild Bobwhite Quail also surprise hunters from time to time. The diverse terrain includes hills, grassland, cover strips, woodland, marshes, and cropland.
