Hometown Challenge Week 3 Update
The MidwayUSA Hometown Challenge Shoot and Sweepstakes has been running strong throughout the month of September! Week 3 has rounded out with a whopping 455 donations and almost $50,000 received! With only one week left of Hometown Challenge there is one final push to get the last Donor Dollars in. At the end of the month, the youth shooting teams that receive the most donations in September can win endowment funds, and all teams that receive a contribution during HTC are entered into a drawing to win $1,000 to your endowment account!
Shooting Competition And Sweepstakes
This fundraising event allows the entire shooting community to compete on a national stage and win incredible prizes through a sweepstakes. Throughout the September, every $20 donation to a youth shooting team is an entry into our Hometown Challenge Shoot and Sweepstakes!
The event’s shoot features several disciplines, allowing youth and adults to test their skills while remaining in their local community. Shooting categories include international air rifle, 3-position air rifle, international air pistol, trap, skeet, prone smallbore rifle, 3-position smallbore rifle, SASP rimfire pistol, SASP rimfire rifle, and an open discipline fun shoot. The open event allows participants to enter scores for any shooting category not included, such as sporting clays, steel challenge, ETC.
By participating in the shoot, you gain entry into our sweepstakes with over 100 prizes. Prizes include firearms, ammo, gear, optics, and more. However, you don’t have to enter the competition to enter the sweepstakes, and you can enter the sweepstakes as many times as you like. Plus, 100% of the entries are credited to your favorite shooting team or organization’s endowment, and donations are matched (1:1)! Every $20 donation to your favorite shooting program allows you to submit scores to compete on a national stage. When submitting scores, your donation receipt number will double as your competitor ID. Those scores must be submitted online by October 14, 2023.
