We are happy to announce our latest grant payout! Another grant cycle has concluded, and we are proud to put cash directly into the hands of teams and organizations. Our cash grant program ensures that the next generation of shooters has the resources they need to succeed. Whether it’s buying targets, covering travel costs for a national championship, or stocking up on ammunition, these grants are making a tangible difference in communities across the nation. In total, this December cycle provided over $7.5 million to the youth shooting sports community. This payout includes funds to youth shooting teams, organizations, and grants were provided to certain donor-advised endowments, too. A shout-out to the states of Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin for being at the top of the list in cash grant recipients and dollars paid to teams.
Why These Grants Matter?
Most youth shooting teams don’t receive the same school-budget funding as football or basketball. That’s where our Team Endowment model shines. By allowing teams to draw 5% of their total balance annually, we provide a sustainable, long-term source of income that doesn’t rely on one-off bake sales or car washes. With that said, any local fundraiser you conduct, the endowment can double your effort by matching every dollar you donate from that fundraiser you host in your community.
What If My Team Isn’t Listed?
We offer two grant cycles per year. We will start accepting grant applications on April 15, and those will be paid out in August. As a reminder, you are entitled to a cash grant every year, forever!
