It is bittersweet to announce the retirement of G. Scott Reynolds, our Executive Director. Throughout Scott’s six years, we have elevated youth shooting sports and created a solid funding avenue for youth shooting sports. We are grateful for his time at MidwayUSA Foundation and wish him well. In addition, we are confident that Pete Eisentrager, current Deputy Director, will continue our path to success as he takes over the role of Executive Director mid-July.
“I’ve been blessed to work with an incredible team at the Foundation while also working with like-minded, caring, and steadfast partners in the shooting sports industry. I feel that together, we have elevated youth shooting sports and created a funding avenue, through the Foundation, that rivals any other cause-worthy financial assistance program. Your support for our Foundation and our country’s youth has been unparalleled, and for that, I am grateful.” – Scott Reynolds

MidwayUSA Foundation Announces Retirement of executive director after six years of leadership
Columbia, MO – MidwayUSA Foundation announces the retirement of G. Scott Reynolds, who has led the organization as Executive Director for the past six years. Under his leadership, the organization has experienced tremendous growth and strengthened its foundation for continued success in the years ahead.
Effective July 14th, leadership duties will transition to Pete Eisentrager, who has been serving as the organization’s Deputy Director. Eisentrager brings a deep passion for the outdoors and a strong commitment to the mission of the organization, ensuring a seamless continuation of progress and innovation. The leadership transition is especially timely as the organization prepares for one of its most anticipated events, the upcoming Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation’s National Tournaments for the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and the Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP) at the Cardinal Center in Ohio. Eisentrager will be onsite during the event, so we encourage all program leaders to stop by the MidwayUSA Foundation Booth to visit about the future of the Foundation.
“This is a pivotal moment for our organization,” said Jon Zinnel, President of the Foundation Board. “We are incredibly grateful for Scott’s steady leadership and vision over the past six years. We are confident in Pete’s ability to continue that legacy and guide us into a vibrant new chapter.” As the organization celebrates Scott’s contributions and welcomes new leadership, the entire team remains focused on expanding opportunities, deepening impact, and delivering a world-class experience for all our teams and supporters.
