Hometown Challenge | September 1-30 ..
Fundraising Shoot, Sweepstakes, and Team Competition
MidwayUSA Foundation presents Hometown Challenge (HTC), a fundraising event that allows teams to grow their endowment, donors to win prizes, and everyone to compete at their local range! Every $20 donation is an entry in our multi-prize sweepstakes and generates a competitor ID that will allow a participant to submit a shooting score.
To welcome all ages, each discipline will recognize the top competitors in a youth category (17 and under) and an adult category (18+). Shooting disciplines include international air rifle, international air pistol, trap, skeet, 3-position smallbore rifle, prone smallbore, 3-position air rifle, SASP rimfire pistol, and SASP rimfire rifle. Participants may also enter our fun event to shoot a discipline that is not offered. Winners will not be awarded for this event; however, participants will still have the chance to win sweepstakes prizes.
All proceeds are donated to the endowment of the donor’s choice, and donations are matched! See our current matching program here.
Sweepstakes and Team Competition
Throughout the month of September, every $20 donation is an entry into our multi-prize sweepstakes. Donate as much as you like to increase your chances of winning! For example, a $100 donation to your favorite team gives you 5 sweepstakes entries. You don’t have to participate in the shoot to be entered in the sweepstakes; simply support a local shooting team in September, and you’ll be entered! Prizes include coolers, gift cards, ammo, firearms, glasses, and more! Additionally, the youth shooting teams that receive the most donations in September can win endowment funds, and all teams that receive a contribution during HTC are entered in a drawing to win $1,000!

Compete at your local range
In addition to our sweepstakes and team competition, Hometown Challenge encourages you and your community to head out to your local range for some friendly competition. Every $20 donation to your favorite shooting program allows you to submit scores to compete on a national stage. When submitting scores, your donation receipt number will double as your competitor ID. Hometown Challenge scores must be submitted online by October 14.
