Matching Program
April team donations are matched! With the help of a very successful Online Donation Drive, the shooting sports community came together and donated $228,241 to shooting team endowments last month! A special Thank You to all the donors that supported their favorite shooting team in April. These contributions were matched at $0.87 per dollar. This match benefits 344 youth shooting Programs. Any shooting team in our program that received a donation last month also received matching funds. If your shooting team received a $50.00 donation, our Matching Program added an additional $43.50, to bring the total contribution to $93.50. Our Matching Program is one of the quickest and easiest ways to grow your team endowment. Every month, we have $160,000 in matching dollars and the ratio is adjusted at the conclusion of each month. However, in April and September, we have $200,000 in matching dollars to add more benefit to teams AND donors that participate in our Online Donation Drives. Online Donation Drive Winners
The conclusion of April brought an amazing finish to our latest incentive for youth shooting teams in our Team Endowment Program. Our April Online Donation Drive brought in over $138,000 for youth shooting teams, and those funds were matched! There were 290 youth shooting teams that received a qualifying online donation and we awarded 17 of those teams with additional endowment funds.
- 1st Place, The X Count – R4979 [IN] winning $8,000
- 2nd Place, Black Hills High School Rifle Team – R5563 [WA] winning $6,000
- 3rd Place, Weston Hit & Miss – R20648 [WI] winning $4,000
- 4th Place, Prescott Bird Busters – R43972 [AZ] winning $3,000
- 5th Place, Virginia 4-H Shooting Education Program [VA] winning $2,000
