midwayusa foundation donor agreement

I understand the Team, Agency, and Donor Designated Endowment Account Programs are owned and controlled by the MidwayUSA Foundation, Inc. (Foundation). The Foundation is incorporated in the state of Missouri as a nonprofit corporation and is a qualified charitable organization exempt from Federal and state income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations to the Foundation are fully deductible under Section 170(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.

In making a donation to the Foundation, I may have suggested a particular shooting team or organization I would like to benefit from my donation. I understand my suggested team or organization will be considered by the Foundation’s Board of Directors in making its annual decision to pay cash grants to the various shooting programs. However, the ultimate decision of the team(s) or organization(s) to receive a cash grant is that of the Foundation’s Board of Directors and the Board’s decision may be different than my suggestion.

The Foundation’s Board of Directors will manage donations entrusted to the Foundation in the best way possible to provide financial support for education and training in the areas of shooting, hunting, firearms safety and outdoor skills. All donations become the sole property of the MidwayUSA Foundation, Inc. and are not refundable. The Foundation did not provide anything to me in return for my donation.

By accepting this “Donor Agreement,” I certify that I have full legal authority to make this donation. Specific information relative to the donation may be disclosed to Federal, State, or local taxing authorities. Unless I have “opted out” of having my information shared (refer to MidwayUSA Foundation’s Privacy Policy), general information relative to my donation may be used for publicity for the MidwayUSA Foundation, Inc. and my name may be shared with the team or organization that will benefit from my donation.
